App Store Connect API
Required to show Apple’s First-time downloads (e.g. 328), impressions, conversion — not from app telemetry.
Two different number systems
App Store (Apple) = ASC Analytics / Sales reports via API key. In-app usage = devices that ran a build with AnalyticsService after the next ship. They will not match historical ASC downloads by themselves.
- App Store Connect → Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API.
- Generate API Key → download
.p8(once) → copy Issuer ID + Key ID. - Paste above, or place files under
backend/.secrets/asc/on the VPS (gitignored).
